1. Charley's: "the experimental co-working space"
Most top 5 lists focus only in café's, but Charley's deserves the praise. It is a co-working space that is accessible to students! You pay per hour or per day and while you are there you have access to unlimited coffee & drinks, super-fast wifi, different kind of room settings and printing.

2. White Label Coffee
With a cozy design and great coffee, this is a great place for an afternoon study session! The coffee is great, the baristas are real coffee experts and the apple pie is to die for! The Wi-Fi is fast and there are plenty of plugs for charging.

3. CREA café: "made for students"
Being a student cultural arts center for UvA and HvA, it is much more than a café. But the café itself is amazing, inside there is great natural light and do not forget to try their brownies, they are one of the best in town!

4. CT Coffee & Coconuts
One of the coolest coffee shops in Amsterdam. It used to be a cinema in the 20's and has been renovated to be a hipster-cool café. It has great coffee, excellent Wi-Fi and a laid-back atmosphere.

5. La Place Openbare Bibliotheek
Not the common recommendation for best café's to study, but this is a must for students. Inside the public library, five-minutes from Centraal Station, you have great food, coffee and loads of workspace. This is the perfect place for students looking for a quiet work environment. The best of all is that it is open until 10 PM from Monday to Sunday!
