Amsterdam Christmas Lights Festival

Let´s start with probably one of the most famous events around Christmas in the Netherlands: The Amsterdam Christmas Lights Festival.
From November 28 until January 19 Amsterdam becomes a playground for artists to show their art pieces in form of stunning Christmas lights around the canals. So, take a walk through the streets and enjoy this beauty for free!

Magical Maastricht

Let’s continue with the Christmas Lights theme in Maastricht! From November 29 until December 31 the residents of Maastricht show their generosity by lighten up the whole city with thousands of twinkling lights. At the Vrijthof square you can go can hop on the Ferris Wheel, go ice skating or enjoy a nice drink whilst strolling through the Christmas market.

Ice Sculpture Festival

From December 14 until January 5 the IJsselhallen in Zwolle will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland. For the theme “journey through time” 275,000 kilos of ice and 275,000 kilos of snow are used to build ice and snow sculpture that are up to 6 meters tall.

Royal Christmas Fair The Hague

From December 12 until December 23 the historic heart of The Hague turns into one big Christmas village. Over 100 stalls let your Christmas imaginations come true by offering everything from decoration items to traditional treats.

Winter Efteling

If you want to dive into a winter fairytale, then Winter Efteling is your place to go!
During winter season, Efteling offers special winter shows and attraction such as cross-country skiing, ice skating and light show in Villa Molta. Definitely worth a visit!
